The Association held its first Special General Meeting (SGM) on 6th May 2022. During the Meeting, the members adopted the Associations Constitution and appointed an Interim Executive Board and Secretariat pursuant to Article 14 of the Constitution. 

In addition, the members approved a pilot project proposal for Kenya aimed at addressing gambling addiction through a layered approach that combines consumer protection tools with addiction support services to help consumers at risk of gambling related harm to stop gambling and kickstart their recovery journey
